BLUE REIGN in the Studio
A Genuine Smile from Roy!
BLUE REIGN had their first ever experience tracking in a recording studio this past Saturday December 13th at Sherrett Studio in Portland, OR.
This was the first time that Calli-Rae (vocals) and DeOnn Wooden (bass) had ever recorded in a studio… Andy (guitar) and Roy (drums) have prior experience with other groups.
This was VERY exciting for them (as you can clearly see by the photos above & below) and also for us at Achaia Records as this was the first studio session for us by any of our artists other than E.D. Mondainé & Belief. The atmosphere was light, fun, and extremely productive. The group also called on the services of Mike Renwick who is a percussionist extraordinaire with many years of experience with several high profile artists in the Portland area including E.D. Mondainé & Belief.
BLUE REIGN tracked parts for four songs, Misconceptions, The Difference, Do Over, and Here I Stand. They plan to go back into the studio in about five to six weeks to get these four songs mixed and then put out their very first EP release of indie pop-rock tunes.
